We were really struggling to find a DJ and band for our wedding and Nick at Merchant Music came to the rescue. DJ Castile was an absolute vibe - he got everyone on the dance floor until the early hours of the morning (with lots of guests on shoulders)! Stu got our music taste straight away and every tune was on point. He also literally saved the night when we had some sound issues at our venue. It was stress free knowing that he had all the microphones for speeches and entrance music under control in our marquee. We booked Elemental Band for a boat cruise the day after our wedding. Such a good performance, they played 2 x 1 hour sets and the choice of songs and talent of the members were amazing. Vice Radio were incredible and put 100% into every song. They also brought great personality and humour which worked perfectly. Nick, who manned the laptop in between and after sets was brilliant. He listened to our requests, worked with the guests and made sure that everything was seamless. We used the band 'vice Radio' for our wedding at Town Head Esate in Lake windermere, and it was the best decision we could have made for our music choice. We spoke to Nick Merchant a member of the band and the DJ who discussed song choices, went through the itinerary as to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible and most importantly the vibes! He was helpful and put us at ease. Nick and Vice Radio provided the evening entertainment for our wedding a few weeks ago and they were ACE! We met Nick at a wedding fayre randomly after recognising him as a guy from a band we had been looking at online and thought looked great from the promo videos! Nick was really friendly, professional and it was clear from the offset he works with a high calibre of musicians. The booking process was really clear and fair, Nick got in touch and had a few conversations with us about what kind of music we liked, any requests we had and we felt he really got what we wanted (and what we didn’t want!). They absolutely smashed it, the sets the band did had everyone up dancing, singing all night and rushing back to the dancefloor from bar as they didn’t want to miss anything. The energy was amazing – there wasn’t one ‘lull’. Nick carried on the party and DJ’d until the end of the night and kept everyone on the dancefloor and the energy just as high. There was a conga, a giant circle and us in the middle, dancing on shoulders… nobody wanted it to end! He even snuck a few cheeky extra songs in for us to give us as much party time possible. We can’t sing Nick and Vice Radio’s praises highly enough. There’s a degree of faith you have to put in the suppliers for your wedding – to trust they’ll deliver at the end of the day – and Nick and Vice radio did that and more. If you’re looking for an awesome, talented and trustworthy band to bring the energy and keep it going all night long, Vice Radio is for you.
